Owen initially discovered his love for photography in the 1980s when as an active gig-goer he would capture live performances from some of the era's most prolific underground artists.
During a long sabbatical in the 1990s, Owen travelled the world and rediscovered his passion and flair for photography. He acquired his first digital camera during this time and used this opportunity to document his travels and hone his skills.
Since then, Owen has primarily focussed his photography on live performance, developing a unique signature style which captures the atmosphere of the gig and the personality of the artist.
Owen has been commissioned by numerous artists, promoters and magazines to cover their events. Working alongside them (often to a brief) Owen has produced images for print, publicity material, and album covers.
His interests include vintage cars and bikes, which he can frequently be found photographing along with anything else that takes his eye.
